If you are looking for precise and efficient dental services using the latest technology, 3D dental imaging is the perfect solution for you!
3D dental imaging is an innovative technology that provides accurate and detailed imaging of teeth, gums, and jaws. Using advanced methods like CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography), this method delivers a three-dimensional view of dental structures, enabling precise diagnosis and treatment planning.
3D dental imaging is used in various dental fields, including implantology, orthodontics, and periodontology, offering a clear view of the oral cavity to a dentist, ensuring safer and more effective treatments. It is ideal for planning dental implant placement, orthodontic treatments, and all dental procedures.
An orthopantomogram, also known as a panoramic dental x-ray, is a two-dimensional radiographic image of the entire jaw. This type of radiograph provides the dentist with a comprehensive overview of teeth, jaws, joints, and surrounding bone structures in a single image.
Orthopantomograms are essential for detecting:
This method is fast, non-invasive, and uses minimal radiation, making it suitable for all ages.
A dental radiograph is an x-ray of teeth and surrounding structures, obtained using advanced x-ray technology. Types of dental radiographs include:
Intraoral radiographs – focused on individual teeth, roots, and surrounding bone.
Extraoral radiographs – like orthopantomogram or 3D imaging, offering a broader view of jaws and teeth.
Dental radiographs are an indispensable tool in dentistry, helping to diagnose hidden issues such as infections, root fractures, non-erupted teeth, or impacted teeth.
The imaging process is quick, simple, and painless.
Preparation: Patients remove all metal objects (jewellery, glasses, etc.) that may interfere with image quality.
Positioning: The patient is positioned correctly – usually standing or seated for a panoramic image.
Imaging: The machine is activated, and the process takes just a few seconds. For 3D imaging, it may take 10–30 seconds, depending on the complexity.
Results: The images are immediately available in digital format for analysis by the dentist.
Before implant placement, orthodontic therapy, or oral surgery, 3D imaging is usually required only once unless complications arise or the treatment plan changes.
3D imaging with CBCT uses a low radiation levels compared to traditional CT scans. The frequency depends on the reason for imaging and the patient’s condition. For chronic issues, follow-up imaging may be recommended every 6–12 months. For children and pregnant women, imaging should be avoided unless necessary.
3D imaging is not used preventively or routinely; in such cases, panoramic x-rays or traditional radiographs are usually sufficient.
3D tooth imaging is performed as needed, and the recommendation of a dentist or specialist is essential. With modern technology, radiation exposure is minimized.
High Precision: A detailed 3D view enables accurate planning of all dental procedures.
Faster and More Efficient Diagnoses: Allows for a quick analysis of dental and bone conditions, leading to better treatment plans.
Enhanced Treatment Monitoring: Dentists can track treatment progress and adjust therapy as needed.
Payment options: cash or credit cards.
